Book a Berth
The simplest way to book a berth at Broome Port is by telephoning the
Operations Manager on (08) 9192 1304 or on VHF Channel 16.

Notice of ETA
One week's notice of ETA is required to be given to the Port Operations Manager. Updated ETA's must be given 48 hours and then 24 hours ahead of the vessel's arrival.
Requests for water and stevedoring services should be made at this time. Fuel bunkering is available only at certain berths. Please advise if fuel bunkering is required so that we can arrange an appropriate berth. Fuel bunkering must then be arranged directly BP or Shell in Broome.

Radio Communications
During office hours 7.30am - 4.30pm the Port of Broome maintains a watch of VHF Channel 16. The Broome Volunteer Sea Rescue Group maintains a 24 hour radio watch on VHF Channel 16 and will contact Port staff if required.

Security/Safety
Visitors and contractors are required to undertake a formal induction prior to commencing work in the port area. Short term visitors to the Port who have not undertaken the formal induction required to read an Induction Booklet, and record their visit in the visitor’s log at the Port office. Visitors will be issued with a security pass, which must be worn at all times and handed back before leaving the Port.

Once you have booked a berth and bunkering is required, contact;
BP West Kimberley Fuels (08) 9192 1357
Shell (08) 9192 3588
to arrange bunkering.
